Stingrays Swim Team
Who are the Stingrays?
The Stingrays are part of the Herndon Swim League, a developmental swim league. That means all swimmers swim at all meets and all swimmers receive a ribbon for every race they swim. The swim team encourages swimmers of all skill levels to come and join the team. The main goal is to provide each swimmer a fun and successful summer swim team experience while fostering a love for the sport of swimming.
Who can join the Stingrays?
If your child is looking for something to do this summer, would like to improve his/her swimming skills, and meet new friends, then this is the group for you. The swim team is open to member children through age 18.
What's it like to be a Stingray?
Daily morning practice times are staggered and meets generally run on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. The Stingray’s also participate in the Herndon Olympics and All-League Meets in addition to dual meets.
