Swim Lane Reservation Details
Can my family use the pool while any of us are sick?
No. During this time, if you or another family member is not feeling well or is experiencing COVID-like symptoms, as been exposed to someone with COVID/COVID-like symptoms within the last 14 days, PLEASE STAY HOME until everyone is well again.
What are the rules for moving around on the deck?
While not in the water, Members should wear their masks. Masks are not be worn in the pool.
What is the maximum amount of time one membership can reserve lanes?
A total of one lane can be reserved per day for a total of one hour.
Can we sit on the pool deck?
Yes, if you bring your own chair/seating (BYOC). All deck furniture has been removed with the exception of one table for the lifeguards to use for their breaks. Members are also encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to keep OUTSIDE the fenced-in area for waiting or taking a break or just enjoying the outdoors away from home. Practicing social distancing OUTSIDE of the facility is strongly encouraged.
Where should we place our items?
Personal items, ie swim bag/towel/shoes can be placed beneath the designated swim lane sign at one end of the pool or against the fence behind the diving board (if the diving well has been reserved). No personal items should be left in the locker rooms.
What should we do if someone needs a break from swimming but has not finished their time slot?
Members who need a break from swimming that is longer than 5 minutes should exit the pool via the side gate (on the grassy side of the pool) until ready to return. Make sure to have your mask on. Re-enter the pool via the main entrance and let the guard on duty know you are returning from a break.
Do we wear masks as we move from the pool to the restroom?
Yes. Masks must be worn when not in the water for a prolonged amount of time.
Can we use the restrooms?
Yes, however, we strongly encourage that Restrooms be for emergency use only. Be sure to check with a lifeguard stationed at the check-in desk before entering the restrooms to be sure no other Members are entering at that time.
Showers are NOT available at this time. We ask that you shower before coming to the pool.
Are food and drink allowed on the deck?
Yes, snacks and drinks are now allowed within the facility at this time. We ask that you make sure to dispose of ALL trash in appropriate receptacle. ALWAYS wash your hands or utilize hand sanitizer when exiting the facility and before eating.
Can we bring toys? Equipment? Floats?
Yes. Pool toys that can stay within your lane are welcome as long as they are not shared among non-household members.
Yes. Personal exercise equipment ( i.e. kick boards, flippers, hand-paddles, etc.) are allowed. Kick boards stored at the pool will NOT be available for Member use at this time. Mermaid Tails are also prohibited.
No. Beach balls and floats of any kind are prohibited.
Will swim lessons be available this year?
Not at this time. The Board plans to discuss this at the next board meeting. The Board will update the membership by email when this status changes. Please check back later.
No, Membership is open to all who would like to join
A membership is purchased, either from the HCSRC Board or from a current member* who is selling/transferring their membership. Members looking to transfer their membership sometimes advertise on social media. Arrangements for purchase/transfer are made directly with the selling member, subject to approval from the HCSRC Board. *Note: Current members must be up-to-date with their fees/dues (in good standing) and must surrender all pool RFID Cards/Bracelets & Tennis Key (when applicable).
Membership status is extended to all family members who reside full time at the residence of the member who purchased the membership.
Yes, Annual Dues are REQUIRED to be paid by May 1 of each season. Occasionally a special assessment fee is applied for extraordinary facility repairs and maintenance.
If you choose not to renew your membership, you can do the following ONLY if you are a membership is in good standing (Annual Dues and any other fees paid in full).
You may sell/transfer your membership at any time. There is a $75 processing fee.
However, you can only surrender/cancel your membership to the HCSRC Board between Aug 30 and Nov 30 of the current membership year.
If you do not do one of the above options, you are still considered a HCSRC Member and you are responsible for the current season's dues.
Yes, If an RFID card/Bracelet is lost, there is a replacement fee of $5.00 for each replacement.
There is a $25 replacement fee for lost Tennis Keys.
